A: If you do not appear in court or pay your fine, the court may issue a warrant for your arrest. Any police officer may arrest you once the warrant is issued.

Q: How can I become a 鶹Police Officer?

A: There are two ways that a person can become a 鶹Police Officer. Applicants who have completed a police training academy approved by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement, and passed the state licensing exam within the past two years can apply for a Police Officer position.

Occasionally, the department accepts applications from persons who have not attended or graduated from a licensed police academy. Known as Police Cadets, these persons are hired at a reduced rate of pay and sent to the academy. Once the individual graduates and passes the state licensing exam, they must commit to work for the 鶹Police Department for two years.
