    David W. Carter High School boasts high academic standards, a diverse student body, and a well-rounded program of educational and extracurricular activities. At our P-TECH program, students can earn up 60 hours of college credit–or an associate degree–at no cost while in high school.

    The application window is now open for students interested in joining the Carter P-TECH  family.

    Our P-TECH Program

    Instruction at David W. Carter P-TECH at Dallas College Cedar Valley will focus on science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) in a hands-on learning environment.

    The curriculum will feature a Project-Based Learning (PBL) model that engage students in exploration of real-world challenges. As they collaborate, design, and create solutions, they will acquire the communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills so valued in the 22nd-century workplace.
