    Natalie Crittendon, Principal


    Natalie Crittendon is a proud product of Dallas ISD.  She is a 26-year veteran educator who has served in a myriad of roles throughout her educational career.  She holds a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education as well as a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership.

    After completing her studies at Texas Southern University, Mrs. Crittendon began her career as a Kindergarten teacher at T.L. Marsalis Elementary School where she also taught 5th and 6th grade science.  She later served as a middle school science instructor at Hulcy Middle School.  While in this position, she served on the Campus Instructional Leadership Team and as department chair. While on this educational journey, she served as a Project Based Learning  and Science Instructional Coach in Duncanville ISD.  While in Duncanville, she began her administrative service and was an Assistant Principal at Byrd Middle School.  She received one of the district's highest honors, “Spirit of a Champion”  award. Returning to Â鶹Çøin 2017, she became Assistant Principal at her alma mater, David W. Carter High School, where she was  responsible for implementing many of the academic programs for the campus.

    Mrs. Crittendon is a wife and mother of two.  Now Mrs. Crittendon is taking the helm of her beloved Adelle Turner Elementary School from which she is a proud Tiger alumnus.  She believes that a thriving school can be identified by teachers teaching, students learning, parent engagement, and community involvement.
