    Retirement Service Award (RSA)

The RSA program allows you to donate your local days to the Sick Leave Bank (SLB) or request a cash payout of your local days after you officially retire. The district has a set budget to pay out the award. The exact rate to be paid will be determined upon calculation of all the participants' remaining local days for the year multiplied by a precalculated budgeted daily rate. There is no cap on the number of local days paid.  State hours are not eligible for the retirement service award.
