• Purpose

    The purpose of the Reporting and Analysis group is to support data-informed decisions, to complete efficiency analyses, and to coordinate with other departments in the completion of projects.


    Responsibilities

     The group is responsible for the utilization of information as an asset via data analysis, data mining, visualization, and reporting. Some of the work that we do is to

    • maintain a Payroll Reports Dashboard to be used by Payroll employees for data verification,
    • create and maintain the Compensation KPI Dashboard to contain key performance indicators (KPIs) and critical data for the completion of several annual surveys,
    • create and run queries for reports that meet specific ad hoc requests,
    • review and analyze payroll patches for their impact on 鶹processes, and ensure there is proper testing and deployment of each,
    • manage and complete department and division projects,
    • oversee ongoing and new Payroll Business Services Laserfiche (LF) projects and act as a liaison to the IT team supporting LF,
    • manage department requisition process to include verification of funding, maintenance of supporting documents, receipt of materials/services, and monitoring of payments,
    • create and maintain FASD process documentation utilizing Oracle User Productivity Kit (UPK),
    • produce department process diagrams to support process understanding and improvements,
    • coordinate with division departments to generate a quarterly resource guide for FASD departments,
    • generate monthly organization charts of FASD departments and Operation Services departments,
    • maintain the department website with accurate and updated information, and
    • produce a monthly department newsletter containing important deadlines and updates.
