Principal Lewis attended Â鶹Çøschools from elementary to middle school. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Science from California State University, Fresno and her Master’s in Education Administration from Prairie View A&M University.

Principal Lewis was first introduced to education as an after school site coordinator with Fresno Unified School District. She is in her 19th year in education and has served Â鶹Çøschools and families for the last 10 years. She joined Â鶹Çøas a teacher at Balch Springs Middle School in 2014. After one year, she was promoted to Campus Instructional Coach at Martha Turner Reilly Elementary. After serving as a CIC for six years, she was then promoted to District Instructional Lead coach for ACE. In addition to instructional coaching, she also spent two years writing the Reading Language Arts curriculum for the district. The last three years, she has served the West Dallas community as the Assistant Principal at West Dallas STEM School.

Principal Lewis believes that education should be tailored to meet the diverse needs, interests and learning styles of each student. By focusing on student-centered learning, we create an environment where students feel valued, engaged and motivated to explore their potential. Here at Buckner Terrace Montessori, education is a collaborative effort involving students, parents, teachers and the wider community. By working together, we create a supportive network that enhances the educational experience and helps students reach their full potential.
