I was born and raised in Overland Park, KS.  I moved to Texas to attend TCU where I majored in Theatre with an emphasis in Acting.  I live in Fort Worth with my husband and labradoodle, Charlie.

I am thrilled to be teaching drama at Mata Montessori.  I work artistically in the area, acting and directing, but my passion lies in teaching young artists.  I believe creative thinking is crucial to human development and is best learned at a primary level.

Drama education focuses on creative thinking skills.  Students in the drama classroom will create theater from conception to performance, learning about the writing, design, and creation process as well as performance.  We will focus on developing the whole self, and building our social and emotional confidence and understanding.
