• Alex Sanger Preparatory is a place of learning and growing. Our dress code encourages students to focus on their learning and growing. When students put on our uniform and enter the building, they experience the feeling of belonging and the mindset shift toward learning. 
    • ONLY middle school is required to have the school logo on shirts.
    • Middle School Uniforms: Black pants or shorts for 6-8th and Skort sold by Dallas East Sports.
    • 6th Grade: Light blue shirt with school logo
    • 7th Grade: Green with school logo
    • 8th Grade: Grey with school logo

    Schoolwide: To keep warm at school, students may wear sweatshirts or a jacket with the school logo or that are solid navy, black, or gray on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. If the solid navy, black, or gray sweatshirt or jacket has a large, conspicuous logo (for example, a Nike swoosh that covers the entire chest), they will have to remove it. On Thursday only, College Day, they may wear a sweatshirt or jacket with their college logo. 

    Schoolwide: No hoodies will be allowed under any circumstances – even if it has the Sanger logo. A sweater with a hood is considered a hoodie and will not be allowed. A zip-up sweater with a hood is considered a hoodie and will not be allowed. 

    Schoolwide: When the weather is very cold in the winter, students may wear heavy jackets with a hood. When it is raining, students may wear a raincoat with a hood. They will remove heavy jackets and rain jackets when they get inside.


    • Elementary Uniform: PK3- 5th Grade school logo is not required.
    • Tops: White or navy blue
    • Bottoms: pants, shorts and dress allowed -- khaki and navy blue

     

    Thursdays are college shirt days. Students may wear a college shirt with uniform bottoms. 

    Fridays are spirit days. Students may wear a If they wear the spirit shirt, they may also wear jeans (no rips or tears) or uniform bottoms. If the student is not wearing the spirit shirt, they may not wear jeans. 

    Some Fridays, which are announced in advance, are “Dollar Days.” These are fundraisers for school field trips. If a student simply brings a dollar to school, they have "free dress" -- their choice of school-appropriate clothing. Crocs, ripped jeans, short shorts, tank tops, flip-flops, open-toed shoes, clothing with inappropriate images or words, etc., are not school-appropriate. If you are wondering if your child’s Dollar Day outfit is school-appropriate, the answer is probably no. 

    Some Mondays are Dallas Cowboys shirt days. When the Dallas Cowboys win their Sunday game, students may wear Dallas Cowboys shirts, jerseys, sweatshirts, and hoodless jackets with uniform bottoms. Students may not wear Dallas Cowboys hoodies or sweaters with hoods on these days. If the Dallas Cowboys lose their Sunday game, it will be a regular uniform Monday.
