Assistant Principal Blue-Allen

I am honored to serve as the assistant principal at Sam Tasby and thrilled to be part of the vision of building a collaborative S.T.E.A.M. campus. I am excited to work with all stakeholders to promote a positive school climate grounded in a tradition of excellence. Together, we can achieve great things.

With a rich history of over 16 years in the D.I.S.D., I have held various roles, including middle school science teacher, campus instructional coach, athletic coach, and S.T.E.M. coordinator. At each stage, I have been dedicated to fostering inclusive and equitable learning environments, with a focus on excellence, student achievement, and the belief that all students deserve a quality education.

My educational journey is a testament to my unwavering commitment to lifelong learning. I hold a B.S. in Political Science from Dallas Baptist University, an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from Grand Canyon University, a J.D. from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law, and an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from the University of North Texas at Dallas. I strive to inspire students and teachers by demonstrating that learning is a continuous process, and I hope to instill this same passion for learning in all of you.

Outside of my professional life, I am a devoted wife, a loving mother, and an enthusiastic grandmother to my family. My favorite hobbies include reading, karaoke, cheering for the New Orleans Saints, and hydroponic gardening. I am also proud to be a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
