    Jennifer Saenz, Principal

    Jennifer Saenz is a product of Â鶹Çøstarting her journey at Sydney Lanier Elementary, moving to W.E Greiner Middle School, and on to Booker T. Washington High School. In high school, her love for soccer took her to Duncanville ISD earning her a full ride to Northwood University. Jennifer's journey brought her back to Â鶹Çøwhere she began her career at Bonham Elementary as a bilingual teacher. She then continued her educational journey becoming a part of the inaugural administrative team, as the Reading instructional coach, to open Adelfa Callejo Elementary.

    After completing 5 years at Callejo, Jennifer moved into an assistant principal position at Eladio R. Martinez Elementary for 3 years. Soon her talents were taken to a new ACE Campus in southwest Oak Cliff at Cochran elementary school. There Jennifer led the reading department and worked to take Cochran from an F to a B campus. After 18 years in education, Jennifer has learned that in order to lead you have to serve. She believes that all students deserve the best instruction in an environment that supports them not only academically, but socially and emotionally.

    Callejo is near and dear to her heart as this is where the foundation of her leadership journey began. Here is where she learned to build trusting relationships, support, and help both students and teachers grow. She is excited about the opportunity to return to Callejo and use the skills she's acquired during her journey to lead the campus where it all began.

     

    Jennifer Saenz es un producto de Â鶹Çøque comenzó su viaje en Sydney Lanier Elementary, se mudó a W.E Greiner Middle School y luego a Booker T. Washington High School. En la escuela secundaria, su amor por el fútbol la llevó a Duncanville ISD, lo que le valió un viaje completo a la Universidad de Northwood. El viaje de Jennifer la trajo de regreso a Dallas ISD, donde comenzó su carrera en Bonham Elementary como maestra bilingüe. Luego continuó su viaje educativo convirtiéndose en parte del equipo administrativo inaugural, como entrenadora de instrucción de lectura, para abrir la escuela primaria Adelfa Callejo.

    Después de completar 5 años en Callejo, Jennifer pasó a ocupar un puesto de subdirectora en la escuela primaria Eladio R. Martinez durante 3 años. Pronto, sus talentos fueron llevados a un nuevo campus de ACE en el suroeste de Oak Cliff en la escuela primaria Cochran. Allí, Jennifer dirigió el departamento de lectura y trabajó para llevar a Cochran de un campus de F a B. Después de 18 años en educación, Jennifer ha aprendido que para liderar hay que servir. Ella cree que todos los estudiantes merecen la mejor instrucción en un entorno que los apoye no solo académicamente, sino también social y emocionalmente.

    Callejo es una escuela cercana y querida en su corazón, ya que aquí es donde comenzó la base de su viaje de liderazgo. Aquí es donde aprendió a construir relaciones de confianza, apoyo y ayudar a los estudiantes y maestros a crecer. Está entusiasmada con la oportunidad de regresar a Callejo y usar las habilidades que adquirió durante su viaje para liderar el campus donde todo comenzó.
