• Dallas ISD's Unique IDEA

     

     

    As a parent/student, you have many choices about where your student will attend high school. We take 100 students each year and currently have limited  9th - 11th-grade seats open at the Innovation, Design, Entrepreneurship Academy for this school year, 2022-2023. 

     

    If, after reviewing our information below, you think you would be a good fit for our school, simply email Ms. Pesina at pcristal@dallasisd.org and someone will reach back out to you to help you secure your seat.  Our students come from all over the metroplex, including Â鶹Çøschools,  charter, private, and home schools, and we hope you will join us!

    Our Entrepreneurship pathway allows students to develop the business and design skills required to create opportunities to impact the world around us. Whether it is a business idea or a social cause, IDEA allows students to develop design, communication, and entrepreneurial skills to create real-world solutions.


    IDEA College Options 

    Pay for 2 years of college in FULL through our.  If your student is enrolled, parents are eligible to get tuition assistance through our program as well as our Parent Promise program. 
    We offer college opportunities through  On-Ramps Rhetoric and College Board Advanced Placement Courses, where students can earn college credits before graduation. 
    We have a college advisor through the (ASP)  to help your students prepare for college and get scholarships. 
     

    Other items you should know:?

    Transportation is provided to our school from your assigned home school.
    We are a Personalized Learning school. Find out what that means here. 
    We are a small campus, with no more than 400 students. (100-115 per grade level) 
    We have been recognized in several publications, including The New York Times, for our innovative practices in education. Check them out on the news here. 
    We have a 100% graduation rate with our students attending colleges all over the state and out of state, several students who accept large sign-on bonuses in the military based on high ASVAB scores, and other students who have successfully started their own businesses while at our school and who continue them while in college.
