Our focus at Maya Angelou High School is  to provide a high quality educational  experience customized for new and  expectant young mothers. In a safe environment, monitored by a nurse, students receive guidance in analyzing their needs for graduation and attaining their life goals, and complete career training - earning certifications and more at the Â鶹ÇøCareer Institute South campus.

Small class size, direct teaching, and personalized instruction facilitate each student's academic success. Community partnerships provide additional resources including prenatal and parenting classes, childcare assistance, and prenatal/postpartum care on campus. Transportation to school, from school and Career Institute South will be arranged.
