  • About the Principal

    Vivian Chandler Fairley has served as the principal of Conrad High School for four years. Mrs. Chandler Fairley served as an Assistant Principal at Conrad High School for four years and has served Â鶹Çøfor 18 years as a teacher, campus instructional coach and assistant principal. Mrs. Chandler Fairley transitioned to the role of Principal with a steadfast commitment to providing students with a superior learning environment that prepares holistic leaders for college and the workforce. 

    Mrs. Chandler Fairley has a proven track record of instructional excellence, increasing student achievement, supporting teachers and staff growth, and strengthening connections between school and home. Ms. Chandler Fairley's leadership journey began at Dr. Billy E. Dade Middle School, which was ranked 32 out of 32 middle schools in the district, Improvement Required by the Texas Education Agency, and the lowest culture and climate survey in the district. In three years as an instructional leader, focused on TEKS alignment, data-driven instruction and professional development, the campus became the #3 middle school in the district, with one of the highest culture and climate surveys and an exemplary rating in community and parental engagement. In her tenure at Conrad High School, the campus became a Breakthrough Campus, received a B-Rating from TEA, graduated over 90% of P-TECH students in 2020 and 2021, and achieved distinctions in all five NAF Academies. Ms. Chandler Fairley is thrilled to continue forward with the amazing success Conrad has achieved over the past four years.

    Mrs. Chandler Fairley is a Dallas native and proud alumni of Dallas ISD. She received both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Texas A&M University-Commerce. 

    Mrs. Chandler Fairley enjoys spending time and traveling with her husband Ray, a high school social studies teacher, and their three children, Reavyn, Ryleigh and Ryan.
