Mr. Lance Williams

Mr. Lance P. Williams is a transformational administrator dedicated to building leadership, developing staff capacity, and guiding students to succeed while inspiring an insatiable passion for lifelong learning. He is a proud product of Dallas ISD, graduating from Skyline Magnet Center, where he realized his natural gift for teaching and leadership. He matriculated at Prairie View A&M University, where he earned his Bachelor’s in Music and his Master’s in Educational Administration.

Mr. Williams holds two core values: Students need culturally responsive pedagogy to maximize their full potential, and students learn best when taught by teachers with high expectations that believe they can achieve them.

During his 15+ year tenure in Dallas ISD, he has had the opportunity to serve at several transformational organizations in the capacity of teacher, fine arts instructional coach, assistant principal and principal—including serving the South Dallas Community as an award-winning sweepstakes band director at Dr. Billy Earl Dade Middle School. In his most recent leadership role, he served as principal of Ernest Bernard Comstock Middle School where he guided turnaround work in organizational culture and academics which resulted in the campus moving from an "F" to a "C" in state accountability.

As a servant leader, Mr. Williams’ goal is to make a positive impact on EVERYONE he serves and be a champion for ALL students. His professional objective is to serve school communities through transformational leadership to ensure instructional and cultural excellence while welcoming shared decision making at all levels. He is honored to serve to serve the students, staff and community as principal of the “Legendary” Lincoln High School.
