My name is Ms. Edoghotu and I am honored to serve as the Wilmer-Hutchins Elementary School Principal.

As a proud DallasISD alumna, having attended Urban Park, Dealey Montessori, and successfully finished as a Skyline Raider, I am excited to have a wonderful year partnering with our staff, students, families and community for the 2024-2025 school year.

My dedication to education has been deeply influenced by my parents' belief in education as a path to success and endless opportunities. I earned a bachelor's degree in Finance from the University of North Texas and a master's degree in Educational Leadership from the University of North Texas at Dallas, which provided me with a strong foundation in both academic and leadership principles.

I began my educational career as a math teacher at Moseley Elementary, rapidly advancing to a lead teacher position at Hotchkiss Elementary School. I subsequently took on the role of instructional coach at GW Truett Elementary School.

My dedication continued while serving as an assistant principal at the Wilmer Hutchins Elementary School, where I pledged to break down barriers and empower students to reach their full potential. Now, in my transition to the role of Principal, I will always be passionate about educational equity and making sure every student has the opportunity to succeed.

As a proud mother of four, I lead with empathy, compassion, and firmly believe that "Every child deserves a champion, an adult who never gives up on them.

This year, our school will "Take Flight, and Reach New Heights!". As an ACE campus (Accelerating Campus Excellence), "Excellence is the Expectation". Our students deserve the best education, and we are here to provide it through a growth mindset, high expectations for all, and by developing inspiring relationships.

Please know that I will do whatever it takes to ensure our students are becoming influential citizens of the global community.
