    STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS AWARDED: 
    • Richard Stroud Scholarship – awarded annually since 2007
    • TJHSAA Scholarship – awarded annually since 2007
    • Jack Cannon Scholarship, funded by Brian Cree, TJ’76 – awarded annually 2007-2014
    ALUMNI AWARDS PRESENTED:
    • Distinguished Alumni – awarded annually since 2009
    • Distinguished Service Award – awarded annually since 2009
    • Patriot Award – awarded since 2009
    • Athletic Hall of Fame – awarded since 2006
    ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS:
    • Hosted Annual TJHSAA All-Alumni Golf Tournament, 2007-2014
    • Organized, funded and hosted Thomas Jefferson High School’s 50th Anniversary Celebration
    • Donated and planted landscaping (trees, shrubs, plants) in front of school in honor of 50th anniversary
    • Hosted two all-alumni casual dinners, 2006 -2007
    • Funded new, improved Seay Weight Room, 2008
    • Sponsored principal’s student leadership programs, 2008, 2014-15
    • Sponsored 50-year anniversary of TJ’s Drill Team, 2007
    • Honored 1962 TJ State Champions Basketball Team, 2011
    • Financially supported visit of Chinese delegation to TJ, 2012
    • Raised funding for Drill Team’s first new uniforms in 20 years, 2012.
    • Established TJ Legacy Fund at the Dallas Foundation for scholarships and gifts now and in the future, 2014.
    • Developed ongoing TJHSAA website (tjdallasalum.org) and Facebook page (Thomas Jefferson High School Alumni Association – Dallas, Tx)
