  • Emergency Medical Technician

    [Health Science Cluster]

     

    The Emergency Medical Technician program of study introduces students to the Emergency Medical Technician occupation and educational opportunities related to the fields of health sciences and emergency services. Students will learn to reason, think critically, make decisions, solve problems, communicate effectively, and work well with others.

    Practice courses are designed to provide students with supervised practical application of knowledge and skills. Practicum experiences may include internships, clinical rotations, field trips, and/or on-campus labs. Students will have the opportunity to earn up to four certifications. This study program is available at all 3 career institutes.

    Students attending: Adamson HS, Carter HS, Kimball HS, Molina HS, Pinkston HS, Roosevelt HS, South Oakcliff HS, Sunset HS, must sign up for CI South.
