    Media Inquiries

    Please contact Athletics Communications Coordinator Todd Lamb or the 鶹Media Relations team for all media interview requests regarding Athletics. Do not contact athletics coordinators, coaches, or student-athletes directly for interview requests or administration of surveys or questionnaires. Do not show up on campus without prior approval from Dallas ISD. All interviews must be approved and arranged in advance by the Athletics Communications Coordinator or Media Relations.

    Postgame interviews with the head coach are permitted without prior approval, but topics should relate directly to the team and keep focus on the students, coaches, season, the most recent game, or the team's next opponent. If a reporter wishes to conduct interviews about another topic, please contact the Athletics Communications Coordinator to make future arrangements. Please work with the head coach to request students for postgame interviews. Do not interview a student without approval from the head coach.

    Broadcasting & Live Streaming

    Advanced authorization to provide a television or radio broadcast, or live audio/video stream of a regular-season event in any 鶹facility is required. Please contact Athletic Communications Coordinator Todd Lamb (blamb@dallasisd.org) by email to request permission. Please reach out no later than 5 p.m. on Monday of game week. Permission from the two head coaches and district athletic directors (or his/her designee) of the competing teams will be obtained at that time. Once granted permission, you will be contacted regarding logistics of setting up. Only then should you request media passes for your broadcast crew. For UIL postseason games, please follow UIL protocol. However, we do ask you contact 鶹Athletics directly as soon as possible to coordinate logistics.

     

    Athletics Event Media Passes

    Media passes are required to attend all 鶹Athletics events. Media credential requests must be made online using the link below. Please use an email address you check regularly. No phone calls or emails will be accepted. Requests must be received by 5 p.m. Wednesday of game week. Late requests will not be considered. You must fill out a separate form for each individual in your organization who plans to attend the game. You will be able to request either a single-game pass or a season pass.

    Media credentials are for working members of the media: newspapers, sports publications, radio, and television. Online-only organizations will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Individuals who publish only on social media will not be approved. Previous receipt of credentials is not a guarantee for approval of your application for the current school year. Student media should request access through a school sponsor or campus athletic coordinator. Media from the Dallas Morning News or DFW-area television stations should not fill out this form. Instead, please use your official station badge for entry.

    If your application is approved, you will be notified when your pass is ready for pick up. Credentials must be picked up in the Department of Athletics offices. Passes are not available for pick up at any of our competition facilities.

    Only the individual listed on the pass may pick up his or her credential unless prior approval has been given by the athletics communications coordinator. Credentials must be picked up before you can attend a game. We do not have a pass list available at our stadiums. Credentials are non-transferable.

    Photos and video from 鶹venues cannot be sold for profit without prior written authorization. This includes the sale to the general public or our student-athletes, their families, our coaches, or our schools. Violation of this policy will lead to immediate revocation of credentials for the offender and everyone in his/her organization. In addition, you are not authorized to live stream audio or video of any game you attend at a 鶹venue.

    Please be aware that press areas in 鶹venues close 30 minutes following the conclusion of all athletics events. Please make proper arrangements to clear the press box, field, and other press areas, so stadium managers can lock the stadium in a timely fashion.
